Senior DevOps Engineer at SentiOne

Adam Jurkiewicz has had a successful career in DevOps engineering. In 2021, they began working as a DevOps Engineer at SentiOne, where they deployed multiple instances of core products to bare-metal Kubernetes environments and Microsoft Azure's AKS. Adam also maintained and remediated tech debt of internal products and systems, including a production 70+ nodes ElasticSearch cluster, Kubernetes clusters totaling 25+ nodes, and several other servers in hybrid environments. In 2018, they began working as a DevOps Engineer at SEVENET S.A., where they drove the DevOps culture and adopted containers. Adam picked the first products to dockerize and continuously delivered them through Jenkins pipelines, and they created Dockerfiles and Compose files for developer and (pre-)production use. Adam also led the DevOps side of a project with microservices in Spring and OKD. In 2017, they completed an internship in the Business Application Development Department at SEVENET S.A.

Adam Jurkiewicz has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, which they are expected to receive in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Technician degree in Information Technology from the Zespół Szkół Łączności im. Obrońców Poczty Polskiej w Gdańsku in 2019. Adam also holds several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (obtained in August 2022), AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations (obtained in February 2022), CCNA: Introduction to Networks (obtained in July 2021), GitLab Certified Git Associate (obtained in May 2021), and C1 Advanced Certificate (CAE) (obtained in July 2018).
