Colin Carey

Colin Carey has worked in a variety of positions since 2008. Colin began their career as a Fluvial Geomorphology Research Assistant for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. In 2010, they worked as an Undergraduate Research for the National Science Foundation. The following year, they worked as an Undergraduate Research for SUNY New Paltz. In 2012, they became an Environmental Scientist for ARCADIS. From 2014 to 2017, they worked for Plethora, first as a Customer Support, leveraging their machining knowledge to build a technical customer support department, and then as a CNC Machinist, manufacturing precision aluminum prototypes for customers and internal development. In 2016, they became a Front End Engineer for Supply.AI (DataCulture Inc.). From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer for Labelbox. Currently, they are a Software Engineer for MobileCoin.

Colin Carey obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geochemistry from SUNY New Paltz between 2007 and 2011. Colin has also attended App Academy. Additionally, they hold certifications in 40 Hour HAZWOPER from OSHA and First Aid and CPR from the American Red Cross.
