WanRu (Laura) Lin has a diverse work experience in marketing and sales roles. WanRu(Laura) started their career as a Market Research and Analysis Intern at Interpret in 2007. In this role, they designed survey questionnaires, analyzed data, and provided insights to various companies in the entertainment and digital media industries.

In 2008, WanRu joined Responsys as a Product Marketing Assistant. WanRu(Laura) later became a Senior Manager and successfully led the integration of two cloud companies, Push IO and Responsys, for Oracle's M&A team. WanRu(Laura) also owned the go-to-market strategy, pricing, and packaging for Responsys' product releases.

From 2014 to 2017, WanRu worked at Hired as the Head of Product Marketing and Sales Enablement. In this role, they were responsible for driving product marketing and enabling sales teams.

Most recently, WanRu served as the Marketing Director at MobileCoin, a company that specializes in global encrypted payments through mobile phones. WanRu(Laura) was later promoted to Head of Marketing and played a key role in various marketing functions, including product marketing, growth, brand, digital marketing, and social media. Additionally, they reduced marketing spend during a market downturn to focus on organic growth.

Throughout their career, WanRu has demonstrated a strong understanding of marketing strategies and has shown leadership qualities in managing teams and overseeing various aspects of marketing and sales.

WanRu (Laura) Lin's education history begins in 1998, when they attended Guangzhou University and pursued an undergraduate degree in Management. WanRu(Laura) completed their studies in 2002. Later, from 2003 to 2006, WanRu Lin attended Cornell University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from The Hotel School.
