Sophie Pécastaings

Sophie Pesek is a PhD student in the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California, Berkeley, beginning in August 2024. Currently serving as an Arnhold Fellow at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Sophie has previously held positions including Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at Resources for the Future from March 2021 to June 2023, as well as a Data Analyst at H2Ok Innovations from September 2020 to May 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Analyst at Bluefield Research and as an intern at Zoomlion Ghana Ltd. and Conservation International. Sophie began academic studies at Harvard University, earning a BA in Environmental Science and Engineering from 2016 to 2020, and also attended St. Paul's School from 2012 to 2016.
