James Brooks

James Brooks is a founding partner at Stanley Capital, established in 2019, which focuses on supporting growth in Healthcare and Resource Efficiency sectors. As a board member and representative for SCP at SePRO Corporation and Roboyo, Brooks engages with leading firms in environmental restoration and Intelligent Automation. In addition, Brooks serves as chairperson at ThirdEquation, guiding advancements in smart power flow technologies, and has held advisory roles at Elgin Energy, which manages significant solar and storage projects. Previously, Brooks played key roles at Lightsource BP, contributing to major strategic initiatives, and at Shell, where responsibilities included overseeing renewable energy strategies and advisory during significant transitions. Brooks holds a Master of Physics from the University of Oxford, completed in 2000.
