Matias Virsu

Matias Virsu is a GNSS Specialist at Septentrio since December 2020, with a strong background in software engineering spanning over a decade. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Exafore, Senior Software Developer at UpCloud, and Software Design Engineer at u-blox, where responsibilities involved test automation for GNSS modules, firmware development, and hardware/software debugging. Additional experience includes positions at Fastrax Ltd, GTECH Finland, and Endero Oyj, focusing on software development, GUI programming, and test automation. Matias began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Turku, contributing to simulations and course assistance in C++ for embedded systems.
