Kit Kilgour has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. In 1994, they started as a Systems Analyst at Cambridge Consultants, where they worked on various projects including defense, regulatory work, 3G license bids, and signal processing algorithm development. Kit also gained experience in embedded software development and wrote the RFCOMM layer of the Bluetooth protocol stack.
In 2000, Kilgour joined TTPCom Ltd as a Research Consultant before becoming the Head of Standards and Research in 2002. In 2015, Kilgour became the CTO and founder of Polybius Communications Ltd. Kit'smost recent position is as a Senior Specialist in the Product Strategy Group at Sepura, where they started in 2016.
Kit Kilgour earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, which they completed between 1985 and 1993. Afterward, they pursued an MBA in Management from Henley Business School, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. In addition to these degrees, Kit Kilgour also holds a certification in PRINCE2, although details such as the institution and the year of obtaining the certification are not available.
