Matt Fisher has a diverse work experience in the clinical trial operations field. In 2021, they began their current role as Clinical Trial Operations Manager at Seqster, where they provide clinical research operations expertise in cross-team client onboarding and solutions implementation. Matt also works closely with business intelligence, client success, product development, and sales teams to effectively represent the clients' current and future needs.

From 2019 to 2021, Matt worked as Manager of Clinical Operations at Labcorp Drug Development, where they had line management of a team of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) across the USA (all regions) and provided input to relevant SOPs and standard plans/templates when needed.

From 2009 to 2019, Matt worked at IQVIA in a variety of roles. Matt began as Manager of Clinical Site & Resource (CRA Line Manager), where they had line management of a team of CRA staff within the Southeast, managed key strategic site relationships, and mentored CRAs in professional development. Matt then moved to Clinical Site Network Manager (Site Relationship Manager and CRA Mentor), where they were responsible for enhancing overall patient recruitment and site relationship efforts. Matt also acted as a mentor for new clinical staff and provided assistance to the Clinical Project Manager and/or Clinical Lead with design of study tools, documents and processes. Matt then worked as Lead/Senior Clinical Research Associate, conducting monitoring visits at assigned sites for protocols that are complex and/or require knowledge in advanced therapeutic areas. Matt then worked as Clinical Research Associate II and Clinical Research Associate I, both of which involved on-site monitoring verifying adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Clinical Study Protocols. Matt then worked as Senior Clinical Trials Assistant, assisting the Clinical Team Lead/Clinical Project Manager with the execution of the day to day operations of a global study, and finally as Clinical Trials Assistant, acting as the central contact for the clinical team for designated project communications, correspondence and associated documentation. Matt also had an internship experience as a Clinical Trials Assistant, where they gained much needed on the job experience in the real world operations of clinical trials.

Matt Fisher obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) from Campbell University, College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research (BSCR) from Campbell University. Matt also obtained GCP (Good Clinical Practice) Certification from Barnett Educational Services in 2011.
