Amber Toothman's work experience starts in 2018 when they worked as a Law Administrative Services Student Assistant at Santa Clara University School of Law. In this role, they provided excellent customer service and addressed inquiries from professors, students, and guests.

Amber then progressed to the role of Marketing Events Manager in 2021 and eventually became a Senior Marketing Events Manager in 2023. Sequoia is a tech-enabled consulting and services company that specializes in HR, payroll, benefits, and risk management solutions for people-driven employers. Amber's work at Sequoia involved managing marketing events and maximizing the company's investment in people.

Amber Toothman obtained a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus on Marketing & Communications from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. Amber attended this institution from 2015 to 2019. In 2017, Amber also briefly studied Marketing/Communications/Italian Language at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In January 2021, they obtained the certification of Adobe Certified Expert - Marketo Engage Business Practitioner from Adobe.
