Emerald Law has a diverse work experience background. Their most recent role was as the Sequoia One Compliance Manager at Sequoia Consulting Group, a brokerage firm specializing in benefits, HR, and risk management services for innovative companies. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Compliance Consultant and Compliance Consultant at the same company.

Before joining Sequoia Consulting Group, Emerald Law served as an Associate Attorney at Leonard Carder LLP and Brayton Purcell LLP. They also held positions as a Public Interest Fellow at Equal Rights Advocates, In House Counsel at Force Investment LLC, and Research Assistant for the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights at the United Nations. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Sande Buhai at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and as a Clinical Extern at the International Human Rights Clinic.

Emerald Law gained valuable experience as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge Roy Paul at the Los Angeles Superior Court. They also worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Mary Culbert and Professor Cesare Romano at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Emerald Law completed their education in several institutions. Emerald started by earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Economics and Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they also attended Copenhagen Business School, where they studied Business and Economics for a brief period.

Later, Emerald pursued their Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they also studied Law at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna for a year, specifically in 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Emerald Law obtained certification as a Certified Mediator under the California Dispute Resolution Program. Unfortunately, no further information is available regarding the institution or the specific year of obtaining this certification.
