Shobana Prabakaran

Shobana Prabakaran started their professional career at EY, where they worked as an Audit Associate from October 2017 to September 2019. Shobana then moved on to become a Senior Associate at EY from October 2017 to January 2021. Currently, Shobana is working as a Client Analyst at Sequoia Consulting Group, a tech-enabled consulting and services company specializing in benefits, HR, payroll, and risk management solutions.

Shobana Prabakaran's education history begins with their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Shobana is enrolled at the New York Institute of Technology, where they are working towards their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Shobana has earned several certifications. Shobana completed The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course at Google Digital Garage in May 2022. In April 2022, they obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing from HubSpot Academy. Shobana also completed a certification in Digital Advertising from HubSpot Academy in March 2022. Prior to these, in May 2021, Shobana obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP. Lastly, in March 2021, they became a Certified Public Accountant through The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
