Uday Swamy

Uday Swamy has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Uday started their career in 2006 at Manthan Services as a Jr. Research Analyst, focusing on pharmaceutical market research. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at [24]7.ai India as a TSE for clients like McAfee, providing technical support. In 2010, Uday joined Huawei Technologies India as a Software Engineer, working on developing Huawei DM client and FOTA solutions for Android devices. Uday quickly progressed to the role of a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to handset customization requirements for telecom operators worldwide. From 2015 to 2018, Uday served as a Technical Project Lead at Huawei, leading the Communications Protocol Lab team and ensuring protocol conformance and field issue fixes. Uday then took on the role of Senior Technical Lead, guiding and mentoring team members to build and deliver class-leading services and platforms. In 2020, Uday joined Huawei's Venus Creative Ads platform as a System Architect, working on building an elite Engineering Research Team. Uday focused on market research, competitor analysis, and developing industry-leading tools for image and video ad creation. In 2022, Uday joined Sequoia Consulting Group as a Senior Data Scientist.

Uday Swamy completed their Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Machine Learning and Data Science from PES University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from APSCE, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Before pursuing their undergraduate degree, Uday Swamy completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma in PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) from Vijaya College, 11th Main, 4th block, Jayanagar, Bangalore-11 (Previous name: B.H.S First Grade College) from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Uday Swamy has also obtained several certifications related to machine learning and deep learning. Uday completed the Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from deeplearning.ai in 2019. Uday also completed a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University in April 2019.
