Malcolm Yep

Malcolm Yep is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Financial Controller at Sequoia Financial Group since December 2019, overseeing financial operations for a company with a turnover of approximately $120 million. Prior to this role, Malcolm held positions including Management Accountant/Business Analyst at Fleetwood, where responsibilities included financial analysis for a national manufacturer with a turnover of around $150 million, and Management Accountant at Wilmar BioEthanol, focused on ethanol production. Earlier experience includes working as a Financial Accountant at Downer and Chief Accountant at Swire Shipping, managing financial reporting for a global shipping company with a gross turnover of about US$500 million. Malcolm completed a Conjoint Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Hons) and Laws at the University of Auckland and is a fully qualified CPA since 2005.
