Kiah van der Loos

Kiah Van der Loos is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in various roles across reputable organizations. Currently serving as an Associate at Sequoia Legal LLP since January 2024, Kiah previously held associate positions at DGW Law Corporation and Bridgehouse Law LLP, where responsibilities included client advocacy and legal research. Kiah's experience also includes a role as a Young Lawyers International Program Intern at Lawyers for Human Rights, and multiple research assistant positions at the University of Ottawa and the University of Alberta, where critical research and policy recommendations were developed. An active contributor to legal scholarship, Kiah served as Co-Chief Copy Editor for the Edinburgh Student Law Review and held an editorial position at the Journal of International Affairs, UBC. Kiah holds an LLM in Public International Law from The London School of Economics, a Graduate-Entry LLB from The University of Edinburgh, and a double major in Political Science and International Relations from The University of British Columbia.
