Elizabeth Berg has a diverse work experience in the field of education and theatre. Elizabeth currently works as a Drama/English Teacher and Theatre Program Director at Sequoia Union High School District. Prior to this, they held the same position at Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District. From 2019 to 2021, Elizabeth worked as a Theatre Teaching Artist, collaborating with multiple theatre companies in the Bay Area to teach drama classes and direct theatrical productions for students aged 3-18. Before that, they worked at Ashland Middle School as a Drama Teacher and Drama Club Director, overseeing curriculum development, teaching drama classes, and directing productions for students in grades 6-8. Elizabeth also has experience in higher education as a Graduate Admissions Assistant at Emerson College, where they provided customer service, answered applicant questions, and conducted campus tours. In addition, they have worked as the Education Coordinator at California Theatre Center, overseeing program development, curriculum writing, teacher training, and directing productions for elementary and middle school students. Elizabeth began their career as a Circulation Assistant at Whitman College's library and interned at Quicksilver Theatre, where they assisted with various tasks related to theatre operations.
Elizabeth Berg received a High School Diploma with High Honors from Saratoga High School in 2007. Elizabeth went on to attend Whitman College from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a B.A. in English with a minor in Theatre, graduating magna cum laude. In 2010, they participated in the IES: Study London Study Abroad Program. Elizabeth then pursued a Master's Degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
