Nichole V.

Nichole V. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher Consultant for the Bay Area Writing Project since June 2022, where Nichole presented professional development focused on writing to learn through Toni Morrison's "participatory reading" approach. Since August 2013, Nichole has also held the role of Equity and Diversity Professional Development Facilitator at Sequoia Union High School District, where significant contributions include planning and organizing professional development days and promoting understanding of racial impacts in education. Additionally, Nichole has worked as an IB English Teacher and developed curriculum for a CTE-based Education program aimed at fostering future educators. Prior experience includes serving as English Department Chair and AP Language and Composition teacher at Jefferson Union High School District. Nichole's educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University - East Bay, along with other degrees and certificates in English and education from California State University institutions.
