The Human Resources Manager provides strategic leadership and guidance to HR Operations and serves as a champion for employee engagement and company culture. The HR Manager is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversees and assist with the daily workflows in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
  • Manages and develop the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Teams.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to define the organization’s long-term goals; designs strategies to support these objectives through initiatives and talent management.
  • Directs the overall execution and fulfillment of recruiting efforts.
  • Streamlines talent acquisition processes to maximize performance, reach, and efficiency.
  • Partners with senior leadership and Commercial Operations team to develop and evolve specific recruiting targets.
  • Implements best practices to attract, evaluate, hire, and retain high-quality talent.
  • Provides guidance and assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, and performance and incentive programs.
  • Ensures compliance with recruitment, employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s human resource functions; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.

  • Administers routine tasks related to HR, such as managing leaves of absence, disciplinary matters, terminations, and investigations.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or change management experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition programs and procedures.
  • Experience managing rapid growth within the consulting and/or biotech industries highly preferred.
  • Experience automating human resource functions and designing dashboards highly preferred (e.g., through optimization of ERP and HRIS systems, as well as tools such as PowerBI and Smartsheet).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters preferred.

Salary Range
$54,903.75$333,595.04 USD
