Emily Lasselle has over 8 years of work experience. Emily began their career in 2011 as a Commercial Fishing Crew Member for Ekuk, LLC. In this role, they maintained five set-net commercial fishing sites with a team of 10 people, setting and pulling nets, picking and delivering fish, and planning and cooking meals. In 2012, they became an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Western Washington University, where they synthesized flexible conducting polymers for use as implantable electrodes and artificial muscles. Emily held leadership positions within the lab in addition to presenting at group meetings and writing quarterly reports. In 2014, they joined Bend Research, a division of Capsugel, as a Research Chemist. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Serán Bioscience, LLC as a QC Lab Manager, Analytical Development Scientist II, and Analytical Development Supervisor.
Emily Lasselle attended University of Oregon from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemistry. Prior to that, they attended Western Washington University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
