Grey Idol has over 10 years of experience in marketing, sales, and design. In 2022, they began working as a Marketing Automation Strategist for Sercante. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Director of Marketing and Performance Marketing Manager for altLINE by The Southern Bank. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Owner & Lead Designer for Hex80. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Director of Digital Services and Digital Marketing Manager for Frontlight Digital. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Account Manager and Account Coordinator for Burkhead Brand Group. In 2014, they were the Digital Advertising Intern for Blogads.com. In 2013, they were the Sales Associate for Performance, Inc. and Client Services Intern for Capstrat. In 2012, they were the UNC Habitat Fundraising Chair for Habitat for Humanity of Orange County and Marketing Intern for Brand Fuel, Inc.

Grey Idol graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism and Mass Communication: Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. In November 2022, they obtained a Pardot Consultant certification from Salesforce and in September 2022, they obtained a Pardot Specialist Certification from Salesforce.
