Richard Dovey

Richard Dovey is a Project Manager at Sercel since December 2023, overseeing the management of projects related to Sercel Concept software products. Prior to this role, Richard served in various positions at ION GEO from September 2014 to December 2023, including Senior Seismic Acquisition Specialist, focused on optimizing complex seismic acquisition surveys while managing both office and offshore field work. Richard's earlier experience includes serving as a Geographic Technician in the British Army from October 2008 to March 2015, where responsibilities included geospatial data collection and analysis. Additionally, Richard worked as an Instructor for British Military Fitness from June 2013 to October 2014, specializing in outdoor physical training. Richard holds a Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems from Sheffield Hallam University and a Foundation degree in Applied Computing from the Royal School of Military Survey.
