Jamie Steel

Jamie Steel has a diverse work experience that includes roles in both the military and the private sector. From 2013 to present, Jamie has worked at Serco, starting as a Senior Instructor and progressing to Contracts Director, Contract Manager, and finally, Contracts Director Training & Systems. In these roles, Jamie has been involved in project management, solution leading, and training lead responsibilities. Prior to joining Serco, Jamie served in the Royal New Zealand Navy from 2001 to 2012, holding positions such as Warfare Officer, Principal Warfare Officer, and Executive Officer. This included deployments to the Middle East and overseeing operational planning and execution.

Jamie Steel attended Victoria University of Wellington from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on commercial law and marketing.
