Julie Christie

Julie Christie is an experienced leader in the shared services sector, currently serving as Interim Director of Enabling Services at Serco since December 2017. In this role, Christie oversees the effective delivery of shared services across the UK and Europe, focusing on Procurement, Finance, Fleet, Property, Workforce Management, and Change capabilities. Previous positions at Serco include Operations & Transformation Director and Client Relationship Director, where Christie was instrumental in the creation of innovative global shared services strategies and in fostering strategic relationships within Scotland. Prior experience includes a tenure at ACCESS LLP as Director of HR, OD & Communications, where Christie led initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational development, and held various roles at Glasgow City Council and Compaq Computer Corporation, showcasing a strong background in customer solutions, quality assurance, and team management. Julie Christie holds an MA with Distinction in General Humanities from the University of Glasgow.
