Nils Groneng

Nils Groneng, PMP, serves as the Landing Craft Planning Yard Manager at Serco since December 2020, providing program management support for the LCAC, SSC, and LCU 1700 programs. Prior to this role, Nils was a Principal Marine Engineer at ENERCON Technologies and held several positions at Serco, including Program Manager and Project Manager following the acquisition of Alion's Naval Systems Business Unit. Nils's previous experience includes a notable tenure as Project Manager and Senior Production Engineer at Alion Science and Technology, focusing on the Royal Canadian Navy's Joint Support Ship project, and Operations Support Manager at Washburn & Doughty Associates, Inc., overseeing engineering and customer interface for commercial vessels. Nils began a career in engineering at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Raytheon, along with military service as a Division Officer in the US Navy. Nils holds an MBA in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University, a Master Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University, and a BS in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy.
