Lungelo Nzuza

Lungelo Nzuza is an experienced Environmental Officer at SeritiZA since August 2021, tasked with ensuring compliance to permits and licenses, reviewing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures, conducting environmental monitoring and inspections, and managing waste across all categories while focusing on ESG reporting. Prior to this role, Lungelo served as Acting Environmental Technician and Environmental Graduate at South32, gaining experience in HSE alignment, data collation, and project management. Educational qualifications include a BA in Humanities with dual majors in Sociology and Geography and Environmental Sciences from the University of Pretoria, alongside an advanced certificate in Geographic Information Systems and a Diploma in IT Networking. Additional experience includes mentoring first-year university students and coordinating office operations.
