Prior to founding their own firm, they worked at Purple Communications, Inc. from 2006 to 2013, where they served as the Vice President, Regulatory and Strategic Policy, overseeing litigation, legislative and regulatory activities, and providing legal and administrative support. Additionally, they held the role of Director at the National Association of the Deaf from 2002 to 2006, focusing on law and advocacy. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a private attorney at Brick Law Office. Their impressive career also includes noteworthy achievements during their tenure as the Director of the Governor's Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing, State of Maryland, where they stabilized and strengthened the office, made Maryland a national model for accessibility, and implemented various policies and programs to benefit the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Kelby Brick, Esq., CDI attended Gallaudet University from 1989 to 1994 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. Subsequently, from 1994 to 1997, Kelby attended Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law. In addition to their formal education, Kelby Brick also holds a certification as a Certified Deaf Interpreter from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc.
