Russell Simpson

Russell Simpson is an experienced professional currently serving as a Funeral Director/Embalmer Apprentice at Service Corporation International since May 2019. Previously, Simpson worked as a Driver/Chauffeur at Avanti Transportation, Inc., providing corporate transportation from November 2015 to November 2017. Simpson's foundational experience includes service in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of E-5/Sergeant of Marines while supervising up to 40 personnel in Special Operations from July 1988 to August 1995. Academically, Simpson is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University, expected to graduate in May 2024, and has earned multiple degrees including an MBA in Entrepreneurship, an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Funeral Service, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology/Psychology.
