Marisol Thomer

Marisol Thomer currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of the Innovation & Learning Center at SEIU, where responsibility includes building innovation capacity and driving transformative changes within the organization. Previously, Marisol held roles at the AARP as Multicultural Integration Manager and Multicultural Markets Manager, focusing on strategies to enhance engagement with multicultural audiences. Additional experience includes positions at the Progressive States Network, where Marisol advanced progressive state policies, and at UNITE HERE Local 100 as an Organizer, revitalizing union membership and supporting contract negotiations. Marisol holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Amherst College.
