Alberto Jimenez

Alberto Jimenez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alberto'smost recent position was as a Principal Engineer at Service NSW, starting in August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CTO of Umano, a promising early-stage startup, where they led a team of five engineers for product development. Alberto also held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Qantas Money, contributing to backend services such as customer onboarding and account aggregation. Alberto has also worked at Fairfax Media, where they were part of a team of senior engineers that rebuilt the technology and product for digital metro mastheads. Alberto's previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at IPscape, Software Engineer at Recommind, Technical Lead at PolyOptimum Inc., and Head Of Engineering at Hidral, SA. Alberto has also served as an Associate Lecturer and Researcher at Universidad de Sevilla. Throughout their career, Alberto has demonstrated skills in full-stack development, DevOps, and API creation.

Alberto Jimenez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Seville - Spain in 2001. Alberto later pursued a Master of Software Engineering degree from the same university in 2008. In 2017, Alberto also obtained a certification in "Finding Hidden Messages in DNA (Bioinformatics I)" from Coursera.
