Thomas Hanel

Thomas Hanel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Service NSW since July 2022, Thomas previously held positions including Full-stack Developer at Intuit and Senior Consultant at Dialog Information Technology. In earlier roles, Thomas contributed to Qantas as a Senior Software Developer and was a Java Web Developer at NBN. Noteworthy experience also includes time at Fairfax Media as a Senior Java Developer and at the Western Australian Department of Mines and Petroleum, where Thomas played a key role in developing a critical web application for mining tenement administration. Thomas's foundational experience began at QBE Insurance as a Senior J2EE Developer and as a Java Developer at CA, where expertise in J2EE technologies was acquired. Academically, Thomas holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computing from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Microbiology and Biochemistry from The University of Western Australia.
