David Wattecamps has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries.

David began their career as a trainee at IRIS (Canon Group) in 1996.

From there, they joined Belgacom as a Product Manager in 1996 and worked there until 1999.

In 2000, they joined Liberate Technologies as a Program Manager and stayed until 2002.

In 2003, they took on an IT Manager role at Gilleman Textiles and Gilleman Logistics until 2009.

David then started their own company, axxess.IT, in 2009, where they served as the Owner.

In 2010, they became an ICT Director at TUC RAIL until 2016.

From 2017 to 2021, they were the CIO at Le Forem.

Currently, they hold the position of CIO at Service public de Wallonie, starting in 2021.

David Wattecamps completed their Master's degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from 1994 to 1996.
