Benjamin Marshalsea

Benjamin Marshalsea has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Benjamin is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at GenieConnect by Service Robotics Ltd, a position they took on in August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at B Marsh Consultancy since January 2018. In this role, they offered consultancy services to companies involved in digital transformation, cloud migration, and process modernization.

From December 2018, Benjamin had an ongoing contract with flightPOS, where they held multiple roles including Business Relationship Manager, Technical Delivery Manager, and Technical Solution Architect. Benjamin helped the company scale up and develop PCI-DSS compliant payment and encryption microservices.

During their time at BABCOCK INTERNATIONAL from January 2018 to June 2020, Benjamin served as both a Technical Delivery Manager and Principal Solutions Architect. Benjamin contributed to the creation of a multitenant PaaS/SaaS system and led a team in understanding a £350 million government education project.

Before that, they held roles as a Principal/Lead Solutions Architect/Project Troubleshooter at IPL from October 2016 to January 2018, and as a Principal/Lead Enterprise/Solutions Architect, Scrum Master, and Development Manager at ADP from January 2012 to October 2016.

Earlier in their career, Benjamin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Capita Absence Management Services from November 2007 to December 2011, as well as at Marie Stopes International from September 2006 to November 2007. Benjamin also held roles as a Software Engineer at Identum from January 2007 to September 2007, and as a Software Engineer at V-Ten from 2001 to 2005.

Benjamin Marshalsea completed their undergraduate education from 1994 to 1998 at the University of the West of England. Benjamin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Engineering during this period.
