Andreas Kirn is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer for the Data Platform at ServiceNow since May 2014, Andreas focuses on high-scale data streaming and FaaS solutions using a managed multi-tenant Apache Flink platform. Prior positions include Director of Software Engineering roles in Emerging Technologies and Platform UX, as well as Senior Staff Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. Previous experience includes leadership and engineering roles at Underground Elephant, aRes Travel, and Advanced Reservation Systems, Inc., along with foundational positions in web development.
