Karel van der Poel

Karel van der Poel is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in product management and innovation. Currently serving as SVP Products at ServiceNow since July 2013, Karel has been instrumental in driving new product development and market expansion through leadership roles including SVP & GM of NowX, and VP & GM of various business units such as Analytics, IT Business Management (ITBM), and Software Asset Management (SAM). Before joining ServiceNow, Karel was the CEO and founder of KPI Library, and Mirror42, which was acquired by ServiceNow. With prior roles including co-founder and VP of Strategy at GorillaPark, and various positions at Hewlett Packard and Prolin Automation, Karel has a strong background in performance management, cloud BI, and IT service management. Karel holds degrees from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Northeastern University.
