Veli-Matti Valén

Veli-Matti Valén is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in cloud services and infrastructure consulting. Currently serving as Director and Head of Cloud Services at Tietoevry, Veli-Matti leads initiatives to enhance hybrid cloud solutions within a prominent Nordic digital services company. Previous roles at Tieto included Director positions overseeing Solutioning and Infrastructure Consulting, where Veli-Matti focused on modernizing IT landscapes and delivering advisory services. Prior experience also includes a Managing Consultant role at Capgemini, specializing in IT infrastructure solutions, and a Systems Specialist position at Calecta. Veli-Matti holds a Master of Science in Software Systems from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland. Additional educational experience includes coursework at the Stockholm School of Economics.
