Alex Garijo

Alex Garijo has a diverse work experience in the fields of project management, construction, and real estate. They have worked as a Chief Refurbishments of Levante at Servihabitat, managing construction projects for SAREB and Goldman Sachs. Additionally, they have served as a Project Manager at HILL International, overseeing a hotel refurbishment project worth €23 million. They have also acted as a Project Manager for Matrol Servicios y Peritajes, where they represented private promoters in the construction of luxury homes. Prior to these roles, Alex worked as a Building/Quantity Surveyor at atp, asesoria tecnica y proyectos and Grupo Escribano, where they prepared refurbishment budgets and managed construction works. They have also worked as an Estate Agent at Engel & Völkers Valencia and as a self-employed Building/Quantity Surveyor, carrying out refurbishment projects and managing all aspects of the construction process. Alex also gained experience in customer service and management while working at Pret A Manger. They started their career with an internship at area.arquitectura.design, where they gained site experience and assisted in developing CAD drawings.

Alex Garijo has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended the Conservatoire Mariano Pérez Sánchez, where they completed their Official Piano Studies in Music between 2001 and 2008. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying (Hons) at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2007 to 2011, specializing in Construction.

In 2011, Alex Garijo continued their education at UPV by completing an Adaptation to Bologna Process program from 2011 to 2012. Following this, they attended the Silesian University of Technology from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction.

The educational journey continued for Alex Garijo with a Master of Science (MSc) in Project Management from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) between 2014 and 2015. They further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a second Master of Science (MSc) in BIM and Project Management at the University of Bremen from 2015 to 2016.

In 2019, Alex Garijo enrolled in UNIR - La Universidad en Internet, where they pursued a Master's degree in Secondary and Baccalaureate Education and Professional Training, specializing in Education, from 2019 to 2020.
