Crc A.j. Mays

A.J. Mays, CRC has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. A.J. started their career as a Personal Banking Representative at Bay Cities Bank in 2007, where they developed exceptional customer service skills and implemented marketing concepts that improved team building. A.J. then transitioned to the role of Credit Analyst at the same company, gaining experience in credit analysis of various loans and managing loan covenant tracking. In 2013, they joined BankUnited as a Portfolio Administrator, where they assisted Business Bankers by maintaining loan portfolios and completing credit analysis. A.J. also took on the responsibility of evaluating new credit requests and completing financial packages for senior credit officers. A.J. Mays later joined HomeBanc in 2015 as an Underwriting Manager, where they oversaw a team of Credit Analysts and maintained underwriting production while managing additional responsibilities. A.J. gained experience in underwriting SBA 7(a), USDA, and commercial real estate loans. In 2018, they joined First Citizens Bank as a VP Commercial Underwriter II. Currently, they work at ServisFirst Bank as an SVP Portfolio Manager.

A.J. Mays, CRC, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Florida from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they acquired the certification of Credit Risk Certified from The Risk Management Association in April 2022 and earned the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate certification from FL DBPR in November 2012.
