Derick Albert

Derick Albert is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in satellite communications. Derick held a position as the Principal Communications Engineer at SES Government Solutions starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Leonardo DRS as the Principal RF Engineer from January 2022 to August 2022, and as a Project Engineer II from June 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Leonardo DRS, Derick was a Satellite Network Engineer III at Panasonic Avionics Corporation from December 2017 to April 2020. Their earlier experience includes a role as the Director of Satellite Engineering at ITC Global from October 2015 to November 2017.

From 1985 to 1989, Derick Albert attended The Polytechnic Institute of New York University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). In August 2020, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
