Jan Hanna

Jan Hanna is a seasoned professional in asset management and telecommunications, currently serving as Senior Director of Asset Management at SES Satellites since March 2014. In this role, Jan leads a team responsible for managing GEO HTS, MEO, and third-party assets, focusing on defining objectives and setting strategic goals. Prior to this position, Jan held roles as Senior Manager and Asset Manager at SES, where responsibilities included capacity planning, resource approval, and optimizing satellite performance for revenue generation. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Sales Engineer at SES, providing technical support throughout the customer service lifecycle, and working as a Teleport Engineer and Senior Network Engineer at Talia Limited. Jan began the career at Orascom Telecom in operations and maintenance. Jan holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Al-Nahrain University.
