Sam Tameru

Sam Tameru possesses extensive experience in aircraft engineering and sustaining engineering, currently serving as Sr. Manager - Aircraft Engineering - Sustaining at SES Satellites since July 2025. Previously, Sam held a similar position at Intelsat from December 2020 to July 2025 and has a robust background at Gogo, Aviation Partners Boeing, TIMCO Aviation Services, and Ethiopian Airlines, where roles ranged from Lead and Sr. Manager positions to hands-on mechanics. Sam holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, complemented by a diploma in Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic from Ethiopian Airlines Aviation Academy.
