Venessa M. Diaz

Venessa M. Diaz is an accomplished writer and performer with a diverse background in television and theater. Currently serving as a Staff Writer for "Kindergarten the Musical" at Disney Television Animation since June 2022, Diaz also contributes as a TV Writing Fellow for Sesame Workshop. As a writer and performer, Diaz has established a one-woman show, "Organic Sofrito or Other Recipes for Disaster," and made notable appearances as an actor at events such as the Chicago Latino Theater Alliance International Latino Theatre Festival and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Theatre Festival. With experience as a freelance writer for companies like Moonbug Entertainment and Nickelodeon, and recognition as an alumnus of the National Hispanic Media Coalition Television Writers Program, Diaz brings a rich blend of creativity and performance to the entertainment industry. Diaz began the journey in the arts with a degree from New York University and has been an active member of Actors' Equity Association since 1999.
