Shilpa Tarugu

Shilpa Tarugu has had a varied career in the medical field. Shilpa began their career in 2009 as an MD-Resident at the Vidant Medical Center. In 2013 they moved to the HCA Physician Services Group, where they worked as an MD-Hospitalist. In 2014 they joined the DSF & Aion Group as a Medical Director and is currently employed at Sesame as a Medical Doctor, a position they have held since 2022.

Shilpa Tarugu has a diverse educational background. Shilpa completed a Homeopathy certificate from the Center for the Education and Development of Homeopathy in 2019-2020. Shilpa then obtained a degree in Internal Medicine from East Carolina University from 2009-2012. Shilpa also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Spartan Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from The College of New Rochelle. Finally, they have a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Biology, General from the University of Virginia.
