Sergio Lara

Sergio Lara has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Sergio is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Sesol since May 2022. Previously, Sergio worked as the Co-Owner of MT3 Technology AB from August 2012. Before that, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at CombiQ AB from August 2012 to April 2022, and also worked as a Project Manager at the same company from April 2010 to August 2012. Sergio has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Magnea from July 2017 to October 2019. In the early stages of their career, they worked as a Control Technologies Engineer at GE Aviation from July 2005 to July 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Analyst at HSBC from December 2002 to April 2005, and completed an internship at General Motors from June 2002 to July 2002.

Sergio Lara completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Embedded Systems from Jönköping University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronic Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Sergio also participated in exchange programs, studying International Relations and Quality at TBS Education, Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse, and Computer Science at Université de Technologie de Troyes during the academic year 1999-2000. Additionally, Sergio holds several certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, Leading SAFe Course (4.6) from Crisp AB, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance, and Certified LeSS Practitioner: Principles to Practices from MORE with less.
