Ian Schumacher

Ian Schumacher is an accomplished professional musician and audio engineer with extensive experience in artist relations and live performance. Currently serving at Set.fm since 2013, Ian focuses on connecting artists to fans through high-quality live recordings and direct-to-fan distribution. As a self-employed musician, Ian specializes in a unique "One-man Band" performance style, incorporating guitars, digital percussion, and loop sampling. In addition to hosting and founding the Tin Roof Acoustic Showdown, one of the largest singer-songwriter competitions in the Southeast, Ian has also worked as an A/V Specialist and Creative Consultant at On Point Creative, contributing to notable events like Shaky Knees and TomorrowWorld. Previously, Ian hosted the Buckhead Saloon Electric Showdown, a competition featuring local bands.
