Ivo Dongen

Ivo Dongen has worked in the IT and software engineering industry since 1989. From 1989 to 2001, they worked as a Manager at KPMG Dutch Caribbean, where they were responsible for software engineering and IT/Mgt consulting, as well as developing custom apps, creating business plans, and developing business intelligence and IT strategies. In 2001, they became the Manager IT Applications (CIO) at SETAR NV, where they were the architect of BSS/OSS for Multi-Play (Fixed, Internet, Mobile, TV) Communications provider, the Information Security lead, and the Process development and Product Owner responsible for priority setting. Ivo was also responsible for managing the BSS IT team, and was the main liaison to Oracle, Amdocs, Microsoft, and leading integrators.

Ivo Dongen completed their Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Twente (NL) between 1984 and 1989. Prior to that, they attended Colegio Arubano from 1978 to 1984 and obtained a VWO. Ivo also holds a number of certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for The Psychology of Emotions: An Introduction to Embodied Cognition obtained in March 2022, Game Based Learning in de praktijk obtained in June 2020, and Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) obtained in August 2019 from Scrum.org.
