Kandaswamy S is an experienced leader in research and development within the automotive sector, currently serving as Head of R&D at Setco since August 2018, focusing on heavy-duty clutches for OEM medium and heavy commercial vehicles and farm tractors. Kandaswamy has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams across various organizations, including roles such as Technical Advisor at Dun & Bradstreet and DGM of Engineering at LuK (Schaeffler). With extensive project management experience from positions at Delphi Automotive and Honeywell Turbo Technologies, Kandaswamy has managed complex product development projects and collaborations with key automotive OEMs. Kandaswamy holds a Master of Science in Applied Mechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and completed an Executive General Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University.
