Doug Hutchinson

Doug Hutchinson has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Doug is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Settle Easy, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Barry Plant Real Estate, where they held multiple roles including Chief Financial and Commercial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager - Operations. Doug joined Barry Plant Real Estate in 2013 and left in February 2023.

Before their time at Barry Plant Real Estate, Doug served as the General Manager - Corporate at Quest Serviced Apartments from 2003 to 2013. Doug also worked at Liberti Limited as a Consultant and Chief Financial Officer in 2002 and 2003 respectively.

From 2000 to 2002, Doug was the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Citadel Securix. Doug played a key role in managing the listing of Citadel Securix on the ASX.

Earlier in their career, Doug worked at Tech Rentals Pty Ltd Australia as the Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary, and at William Buck, Orr Martin and Waters, and Allmand Partners as an Audit Supervisor, Audit Senior/Supervisor, and Business Services/Audit Senior respectively.

Doug Hutchinson attended RMIT University from 1995 to 2001 and obtained a Bachelor of Business in Accounting. Doug also attended Haileybury College from 1979 to 1984, although it is not mentioned whether they obtained a degree or field of study from this institution. Additionally, they pursued a Diploma of Franchising at the Australian Institute of Management and obtained a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification from the Australian Society of CPA's.
