Zane Carnes

Zane Carnes is a skilled music instructor with experience teaching Electric Bass at the high school level through Musicopia since March 2022 and beginner low string players in grades 4-7 at Settlement Music School since February 2022. Previously, Zane served as a Repair Technician Assistant at Ithaca College, where responsibilities included managing an extensive inventory of instruments and maintaining details of over 600 musician contacts. Zane also contributed as a Pit Orchestra Bassist at Cortland Repertory Theatre, performing in notable productions such as Mamma Mia, which garnered positive reviews. Zane holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance with a focus on Double Bass from Ithaca College and an Advanced Regents Diploma with Mastery in Science and Mathematics from Auburn High School.
