Kavya Jha

Kavya Jha has been working in the technology and sustainability space since 2012. Kavya began their career as an Intern at Reap Benefit Eco Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they worked on recycled product prototypes and poster and content design for workshops on energy, water and waste issues. In 2013, they volunteered as a Facilitator at Soshit Samadhan Kendra in Patna, conducting various activities and workshops for the underprivileged Mussahar community. In 2014, they took on Freelance Projects in Graphic Design, Content Writing, and UI/UX. Later that year, they joined Reap Benefit Eco Solutions Pvt Ltd as a Product Development Lead, leading development in UX Design and Product Design. In 2017, they were a Research Assistant Internship at The Takshashila Institution, aiding research on the current government's flagship Smart Cities programs. In 2018, they founded Carbon Trim, a database of carbon footprints of everyday choices made by people, and launched the Carbon Trim iOS app on App Store and Product Hunt. In 2019, they became a Product Manager at SmartCoin Financials. Currently, they are a Design Lead and Senior DevX Manager at Setu.

Kavya Jha's education history includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy from The Takshashila Institution in 2017, a Post Graduate Diploma in Art and Design from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology in 2009-2013, and High School from Vasant Valley School, Delhi in 2007-2009 and Delhi Public School, Patna in 2003-2007.
