Adam Rice

Adam Rice has a solid work experience in the field of additive manufacturing. Adam currently holds the position of Additive Manufacturing Systems Engineer at Seurat Technologies, which they began in April 2022. Before that, they worked at Boyd Corp as an Additive Manufacturing Engineer from January 2019 to April 2022. In this role, they were involved in research and process engineering, including DOE process parameter development and optimization, material qualification, and testing, with a focus on aluminum LPBF. Prior to that, they worked at UMass Amherst Advanced Digital Design Fabrication Lab as an Additive Design and Manufacturing Engineer from May 2018 to December 2018.

Adam Rice completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2014 to 2018. In 2016, they also studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for a brief period as part of their degree program. In August 2021, they obtained a certification in Additive Manufacturing for Innovative Design and Production from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
