Vice President Of Product Management at Sevco Security

Craig Cason has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Craig is currently serving as the Director of Partner Solutions at Sevco Security since March 2021.

Prior to this, Craig worked at VMware Carbon Black from 2014 to 2021, progressing through different positions. Craig held the role of Senior Product Line Manager from November 2020 to March 2021 and Product Line Manager from October 2019 to November 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Product Manager, Senior Manager of Technical Product Management, Senior Advisor of Partner Technical Enablement, Solutions Architect in Professional Services, and Senior Technical Services Consultant.

Before joining VMware Carbon Black, Craig worked as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at NJVC-LLC from December 2012 to April 2014 and as a Senior Security Consultant at Accuvant in November 2012. Craig also worked as a Network Security Engineer at Avaya Government Solutions from February 2011 to October 2012 and at General Dynamics Information Technology from February 2008 to February 2011.

Craig started their career as a Network Controller/Operator at Computer World Services Corp (CWS) in September 2007 and later served as an Enterprise Services Management Tier III Intern and Tier I Help Desk Specialist at General Dynamics Information Technology from February 2007 to August 2007.

Craig Cason obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Computer Science from Southeast Missouri State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in the field of computer science and information security. In 2011, they became a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)². In 2017, they obtained the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification from the SANS Institute. Further, in 2018, Craig obtained the Certified Agile Leadership I (CAL) certification from the Scrum Alliance, as well as the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification. Lastly, in 2010, they became a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Security through Cisco.
